The University of Alaska Fairbanks, College of Liberal Arts is looking for adjunct faculty/part-time instructors. Duties to include instructing and advising students in the related subject matter and developing a course outline, syllabus, teaching materials, and tests as needed. Subject areas include but are not limited to:
Alaska Native Languages, Anthropology, Art, Communication, English, Foreign Languages (French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese), History, Journalism, Justice, Music, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Theatre, and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
Adjunct positions are on a semester-by-semester contract basis. Successful acceptance into the adjunct pool does not guarantee an offer of a contract. Not all departments are in need of adjunct faculty for this academic year.
