30 Assist in development and testing, assessment and other evaluation instruments. Proctor placement tests. Tutor students individually and in small groups, and assist with setting up accounts. Identify barriers to the student''s educational progress, and work with ABE coordinators to assist students. Essential
60 Recommend curriculum and instructional strategies appropriate to the learning needs of the Adult Basic Education target group. Train and advise ABE Coordinators to provide individualized tutoring to students. Advise and counsel ABE coordinators regarding course requirements, expectations, goals and progress through the program so they can better assist students. Market ABE classes to Bristol Bay Region. This full-time position is looking for a candidate to facilitate student recruitment and deliver instruction for GED preparation and adult basic education in math, language arts, science and social studies. They will also conduct staff training, maintain student records and assist with evaluating program effectiveness.
