Position Summary: University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide support for the School of Education in the Dean of Education's office on the Juneau campus. The Administrative Assistant performs a wide variety of administrative functions requiring independence, judgment, and initiative.
Knowledge/Skills Required: Excellent Organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills, strong analytical skills, ability to coordinate events, advanced records and data management.
Preferred Education: One year post-secondary education
Preferred Experience: Employment in a college or university environment, management of departmental credit cards, preparation of travel logistics, Content Management system, Banner, Excel spreadsheets creation and maintenance, management of an executive's calendar, recording minutes of meetings.
