UAA’s College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) is a dynamic academic resource that serves and reflects Anchorage, Alaska’s largest metropolitan community. Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the College has an impressive faculty who bring a wide range of academic and industry expertise to students and community partners. CBPP students represent all age groups, ethnicities and backgrounds.
Students have a variety of areas from which to choose with Baccalaureate degree majors in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Global Logistics, Management (Property Management and Real Estate concentration option), Management Information Systems, or Marketing.
The Economics Department hosts the Vernon Smith Economic Science Laboratory and an experimental economics research program. It has also has special expertise in behavioral economics and resource economics. It is home to the Rasmuson Chair in Economics, the only fully-funded privately-endowed scholarly chair at the University of Alaska, which brings leading economics scholars to be in residence at UAA for terms up to a year.

These positions will entail manual labor and light maintenance on the range during the summer months and additionally, Heater Watch during the winter months. These positions are temporary and will be hired on an as-needed basis, determined by the Range Manager.
Research Professional 2
The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) studies social and economic conditions in Alaska and provides unbiased information and research to inform public and private decisions. ISER is seeking to hire a term, part time research professional (RP) to work with ISER and DHSS staff on evaluations of grant programs addressing the opioid crisis. The job is initially through June 30, 2018 with the potential to continue, dependent on grant funding.
Development Officer, College of Health
The focus of the Development Officer will be to raise funds and strengthen connections with the College of Health (COH) alumni. UAA is the health campus of the entire UA system. GI - Radar Engineer
The Geophysical Institute Space Physics Group seeks a talented engineer to work on the scientific radars of the SuperDARN network. The position will involve radio hardware and software engineering and deployment to ensure that SuperDARN remains at the cutting edge of space physics observation.
Electrical Engineering Assistant Professor
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (http://cem.uaf.edu/ece.aspx) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor starting August 2018. The position requires a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, obtaining funded research, publishing in peer-reviewed publications, and performing public service. Candidates must have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and a PhD degree or all but dissertation in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Preference will be given to focus areas of power or computing that can develop externally funded research programs.
The department offers an ABET-accredited BS, MS, and engineering PhD degree with an electrical engineering concentration. REC Climbing Wall Coordinator & REC/ODS Assistant Guide

This flexible position is responsible for the safe operation of the REC's climbing facility and the inventory and maintenance of the REC Center's growing outdoor gear rentals. Adjunct Faculty - UAS Sitka Campus
