Executive Assistant to the Vice Provost for Research & Graduate Studies
The Office of Research and Graduate Studies (ORGS), headed by the Vice Provost of Research and Graduate Studies, Dr. Helena S. Wisniewski, houses the Office of Sponsored Programs, the Office of Research Integrity and Compliance, the Office of Technology Commercialization, the Vivarium Lab and the UAA Graduate School. ORGS is seeking an Executive Assistant critical to the continual office support to the Vice Provost for Research and Graduate Studies and the operation of ORGS units. Duties/tasks for the VPRGS include, but are not limited to, managing complex scheduling, response to correspondence, coordination of meetings and events, maintenance of contact lists, preparation for meetings and presentation materials, preparation of marketing materials in a variety of formats, maintenance of ITAR and EAR forms and other records, making travel arrangements, and updating the departmental website.

Grant Fiscal Officer - SNRE
The School of Natural Resources and Extension (SNRE) is the foundation of the federal land grant, created through the Morrill Act of 1862. The SNRE Grant Fiscal Officer is responsible for accurate and timely financial management of SNRE including management of all restricted funding sources, proposal budget integrity, post ¬award project management, and any other financial interest of the unit. The Grant Fiscal Officer coordinates and prepares all financial reports, for both internal and external audiences, and acts as a primary point of contact on all issues of financial concern to members, partners, and customers of SNRE. In addition, the position will serve as a backup for the SNRE Fiscal Officer. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and customer service skills, prioritizes diverse workloads effectively, and identifies and implements efficiencies to best support the faculty, staff, students, and customers of the unit.

MSW4 Preventative Maintenance Technician

The University of Alaska Fairbanks HVAC Shop seeks applicants for the position of Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform PM work in order to keep mechanical equipment in peak operating condition. Typical work will include changing air filters, greasing motors, cleaning mechanical equipment, and performing visual checks on a variety of mechanical equipment. Typical work schedule will be M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm. Successful applicant will demonstrate at least one year in a field related to this position (building or equipment maintenance), and be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Peer Advisor - Student Assistant B

This position is for a temporary, part-time Photo Lab Technician position within the Art Department located within the UAA Fine Arts building. This position is primarily responsible for providing assistance to the faculty who teach photography courses within the department. Position is directly responsible for monitoring and maintaining the photography lab space, equipment and supplies. Position also works one-on-one with students enrolled in courses and assists them with their needs. This position will report directly to the head of the Photography area. This is a non-benefited position which will work part-time up to 20 hours per week.
