MAPTS is a workforce development unit within UAF’s School of Natural Resources and Extension which conducts short-term non-credit training for new employees in the mining and oil & gas industries and continuing education and certifications for incumbent employees. MAPTS operates a remote training camp as well as classroom-based training in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, Soldotna, and other locations around the state.
This position will assist MAPTS in marketing its program through electronic and printed sources. The position will also work with staff instructors and subject matter experts to create instructional presentations and marketing publications.
