UAA - Temporary Professional
ICHS is performing an evaluation of the Alaska Department of Corrections Extended-Release Naltrexone Approach (ADNA). The evaluation will follow participants for one year after their first injection to evaluate the program’s effectiveness at preventing relapse and recidivism.
We are looking to recruit a dedicated individual with an interest in gaining experience conducting health research on topics related to opioid abuse and the criminal justice system. In this role, you will assist with data collection by conducting interviews with participants alongside ICHS staff and the Principal Investigator. The position requires an ability to communicate clearly and concisely; follow IRB and data collection protocols, and a willingness to interact with incarcerated individuals with a history of substance abuse.
